Think of a mother's final kiss to her son before He is to be buried. Think of what this must have been like if that Mother's heart was without stain of original sin - what a fathomless ocean of sorrow. Let us strive today and all days to honor our Blessed Mother for her sacrifice made willingly in union with her Divine Son.

I agree with you Marilena, only God knows how Mary suffered and has without doubt rewarded her with the greatest generosity on Heaven.
Now imagine the ingratitude of men who do not appreciate Our Lord's Sacrifice on the Cross and who spurn His Love and how much more that makes Our Lady suffer. On this Feast of Our Lady of La Salette, let us endeavour to bring others to a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus by reminding them of the La Salette message: a message of reconciliation and hope, a message of peace for mankind. For without God, we can do nothing.
My heart breaks for my Mother who is so perfect and sweet yet so powerful. As a mother I know some of Her pain and as Her daughter my heart breaks.
