Catholic independant film company

"Our Lady's Tears"
Official logo commissioned by Matthew Alderman

Ok, my husband has been at me for awhile to post a link here to our new independant film company's website, not surprisingly named "Our Lady's Tears Productions" My husband and I prayerfully discerned our calling to found this company to make authentically Catholic films for wide distribution. Our first film is entitled Requiem of a Soul and is the life story of St. Germaine Cousin. Go HERE to view our newly launched website. We have completed a 30 min short film and plan to complete an entire feature length movie once we have the funds. A trailer can be viewed on the site.

I ask of you the following:

~ Please pray for our company

~ If you or anyone you know is interested in investing in Catholic film making, please contact us via our contact information on the site.

~ Please post links to our site on your blogs/websites/etc to help spread the word and hopefully generate interest.

Sanctus, may the Lord Jesus richly bless this endeavour as well both you and your husband - and all of your children. What an inspiring idea!

Wow! What a pleasant bit of news, Sanctus.

Congratulations on getting it off the ground. You can be sure that I will be having you in my prayers and doing what little I can to pass the word to others.

I assume that you have been in touch with Barbara Nicolosi and her Act One operation in Hollywood?

Many thanks Cathy and Ray. I've not heard of Barbara Nicolosi, I'll look into it. Yes, and please do help spread the word for the glory of God.

Just said a "Hail Mary" for the success of your company.

I'm sure you'll be peppered with suggestions for films, so I might as well leap in with one. What about a film about the heroic life of Pope Pius XII, to counteract the venomous filth The Deputy that succeeded in making so many think he was Hitler's lapdog? Pius XII had a great devotion from his childhood to the Blessed Mother, and of course defined the dogma of the Assumption. And the connection between him and Fatima is worth exploring (for instance, he was consecrated a bishop on May 13, 1917, at the very moment the Blessed Mother first appeared to the children at Fatima).

Anita, that is a good idea. I will forward this to my husband. One of our most treasured possesions is a plenary indulgence from Pius XII for my mother and father in law on the occassion of thier wedding for them and their FAMILY (a member of which I am) at the moment of death - what a blessing.
