"Behold, O my children, the tears of your Mother!" Mary told her. "Shall I weep in vain? Assuage the sorrow of my Heart over the ingratitude of sinful men by the love and chasteness of your lives. Will you do this for me, beloved children -- or will you allow your Mother to weep in vain?" ~ Our Sorrowful Mother to Sr. Sister Mildred Mary Neuzil of Fostoria, Ohio.

Don't forget that tomorrow, 29th August, marks the beginning of the Triduum in honour of Our Lady of Tears of Syracuse, culminating in the Feast of Our Lady of Tears on September 1st; which, I’m sure you’ll agree, is an appropriate way to begin the month in honour of Our Lady of Sorrows! The miraculous Image of Our Lady of Tears began weeping human tears on August 29th 1953 and continued, in the presence of reliable witnesses, for 4 days; the prodigy culminating on 1st September. The tears have been scientifically verified as human, and the Church has fully approved the miracle.
Keep up the good work promoting Our Blessed Mother's Sorrows!
I looked at that webpage you linked to and its very interesting. I haven't heard of this one before and I'll look more into it. Thanks again.
Anything, sorrows, joys, counsel that draws us closer to Mary is a blessing.
I am a recent convert to catholicism, and i have a urgent prayer request to ask. I have been somewhat involved (not face-to-face personally though) with women who have undergone or are comtenplating abortion, and they are besought with regret and grief even as they stand by the view that it was better for their child to die if they could not be good parents or if their child could not be born without pain or suffering. It is very difficult to get them to understand our view. And there are so many of them out there.
Please pray, most fervently, especially on behalf of Our Mother's tears, for all the innocent victims of abortion as well as the mothers who are going through so much, and for the misuse of the free will that God has given us. Please pray, and God bless you.
